In our educational vision, guided by our integrative approach, primary education is the phase where the foundations laid in the previous stage are consolidated. Here, children begin to develop their abilities and talents, discover their various intelligences, and learn to use tools for problem-solving. They also engage in reading and writing in the broadest and most inclusive sense, develop intellectual technologies and other cognitive skills, implement what is known as complex thinking, participate in “circles of engagement and quality,” and establish the foundation for mastering languages (in our case, English as a first language and the language of technology).

  • Bilingual education in English.

  • Cambridge International Exams: ESOL Exams: FLYERS, KET (Key English Test), and PET (Preliminary English Test).

  • CP Cambridge Primary: Language, Maths, Science, Global Perspectives, and Arts.

  • Project-based learning with interdisciplinary areas of knowledge and study. Reading program. Education in values and the strengthening of patriotic sentiments.

  • Curricular workshops: art, music, drama, technology, computing, and chess.

  • Choir (from 3rd to 7th grade).

  • Open classes, educational outings, camps, and sports tours.

  • Curricular sports:

    • 1st grade: Tennis, gymnastics, athletics, and multi-sports.
    • 2nd grade: Introduction to hockey, rugby, athletics, football, and tennis.
    • 3rd to 6th grade: Hockey, rugby, football, and athletics.

     

WEEKLY SCHEDULE: 7:50 AM to 11:55 AM / 12:55 PM to 4:35 PM.

Exams

We implement the Cambridge Primary (CP) program from the University of Cambridge, integrating its curriculum starting in 1st grade across the areas of Language, Maths, Science, and Global Perspectives. This program ensures an optimal foundation in the English language, significantly strengthening bilingualism and reinforcing knowledge in preparation for international examinations during secondary school.

Objetivos

En esta etapa se empieza a visualizar la autonomía y la autosuperación en nuestros alumnos, formando uno de los principios del Management Educativo, la organización del tiempo, trabajando desde los cursos inferiores, con agendas, grupales e individuales.

El aprender a aprender, a comprender, a emprender y a compartir, se va logrando a partir del trabajo en equipo por áreas y por proyectos. Se comienzan a organizar las materias por áreas de conocimiento y por ejes transversales, estimulando de este modo el aprendizaje interdisciplinario que se consolidará en el secundario.

Los niños se irán familiarizando con los recursos tecnológicos, herramientas que les permitirán catalizar y optimizar sus procesos de aprendizaje. Es deseable e importante la presencia, participación y apoyo de los padres en todo el proceso educativo de los niños. La enseñanza del inglés como primera lengua les ocupa todo un turno, y este énfasis y rigor de inmersión idiomática les garantiza su incorporación natural, junto a la lengua materna.
